Thai Airways appoints Mango as UK agency

Mango PR is proud to have been appointed to represent Thai Airways ahead of their 45th anniversary later this year.

Thai Airways (THAI) has served passengers between Thailand and the UK since 1973, making its inaugural DC8 flight on November 2, 1973 between Bangkok and London – the First Asia-Pacific airline to serve Asia and London Heathrow Airport. As the national carrier of the Kingdom of Thailand, THAI plays a vital role in transporting the public to Thailand and beyond on their extensive route network.

THAI has come a very long way since those early pioneering days, currently operating flights to 32 countries, 76 cities and 77 airports, with a fleet of 79 aircraft and operating two non-stop flights each day between London and Bangkok with onward connections throughout Thailand and the Far East via Thai Smile.

THAI’s excellent premium class service standards have been recognized with the three prestigious Skytrax 2018 World Airline Awards that THAI received for World’s Best Economy Class, World’s Best Airline Lounge Spa, and Best Economy Class On-Board Catering.
